Marriage counselling is the act of listening to people who have marriage problems, people
who are planning to go into marriage or people who want to know how to make their
marriage better. It involves helping them solve their problems, teaching them how to start a marriage and
make it great. It also involves showing them ways to improve their marital lives.

THE BIBLE’S STAND ON COUNSELLING

1. COUNSEL IS FROM GOD: “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I
have strength.” Proverbs 8:14 KJV
2. COUNSEL BRING SAFETY: “Where no counsel is, the people fall, but in the multitude
of counselors, there is safety”. Proverbs 11:14
3. NO COUNSEL, NO VICTORY: “Without counsel purposes are disappointed: But in the
multitude of counsellors, they are established.” Proverbs 15:22 KJV
